2. Services Provided
Arctic North Adventures offers private and group guided outdoor experiences in the Sortland, Vesterålen, and Lofoten regions. Services may include hiking tours, sightseeing, wildlife exploration, and other nature-based activities.
3. Bookings and Payments
Booking is required in advance via our website (Booknetic or Elementor forms).
Payments are processed securely via WooCommerce or Zettle.
You may choose to pay online before the tour or on-site, depending on the tour type.
All prices are listed in Norwegian Krone (NOK) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Customer Cancellations:
Free cancellation up to 4 days or more before the tour.
50% refund if canceled 48–96 hours before the tour.
No refund if canceled less than 48 hours before the tour or in case of no-show.
Operator Cancellations:
We reserve the right to cancel tours due to unsafe weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, you’ll be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
5. Assumption of Risk
Outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to weather changes, terrain hazards, and wildlife encounters. By joining a tour, participants acknowledge these risks and accept personal responsibility.
6. Health and Fitness
Participants must be in reasonable health and disclose any medical conditions that may affect their participation. If unsure, consult a physician before booking.
7. Conduct and Safety
Follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
Disrespectful, disruptive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the tour without a refund.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including text, photos, and logos—is the property of Arctic North Adventures and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for injuries, loss, or damage to property during your participation in our tours, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes will be handled by Norwegian courts, with Sortland District Court as the agreed legal venue.
